  1. Help Center, tutorials, and this page

    • NewHelp Center with guides for every part of the studio — getting started, formats, styles, page editing, covers, exports, billing and troubleshooting.
    • NewFour step-by-step tutorials that build a real book start to finish, including a square toddler book and an intricate adult book.
    • NewThis What's New page, so you can see what changed and when.
    • ImprovedThe landing page showcase now renders every book at its true trim size — the square 8.5×8.5 book finally looks square next to the 8.5×11 ones — with the format printed on each cover.
    • FixedThe flip-through book reader cropped square and 8×10 pages into a portrait shape. Pages now display in their real proportions.

  2. Real books on the landing page, and a much better blog

    • NewSix complete books generated entirely in the app are now on the home page, each openable in a flip-through reader — covers and interior pages exactly as exported.
    • NewSix new in-depth articles on KDP publishing, keywords, royalties, formatting and coloring book ideas.
    • NewDecorative floral frame library in the page editor, plus page background colors and fill/stroke controls for elements.
    • ImprovedEvery public page is now pre-rendered as static HTML, so search engines and AI crawlers see the full content instead of an empty shell.
    • ImprovedAlt-drag to duplicate elements in the editor, and a friendlier font set.
    • FixedSeveral wizard pipeline bugs between the generate, layout and cover steps.

  3. A Canva-grade page editor

    • NewElement gallery with 134 ready-made transparent coloring elements across 14 categories, browsable by chips.
    • NewEditor upgrades: font picker, keyboard shortcuts, alignment tools, layers, zoom, snapping, smart guides, grouping, shadows and text spacing.
    • NewDrag and drop your own images straight onto a page.
    • ImprovedAI-generated front covers now keep guaranteed safe margins, so titles never sit too close to the trim line.

  4. Designed template pages and a rebuilt PDF export

    • NewDesigned built-in templates for all 15 special page types — title, copyright, “this book belongs to”, test-your-colors and more.
    • NewBrand style system: pick a playful, elegant or modern look and every template page follows it, with your author name and ISBN.
    • New“Enhance with AI” adds matching decorative art to a template page (1 credit).
    • ImprovedThe manuscript PDF builder was rebuilt — edited pages are honored, images no longer drop out, and a progress bar shows where the export is.
    • FixedThe canvas page editor lost edits and broke undo on some projects. Saves are now stable, and older projects are repaired on open.

  5. Reliable cover generation

    • FixedBack cover generation failed or drifted away from the front cover's style. It now mirrors the front cover's logic and retries cleanly.
    • FixedFront cover rendering on mobile.

  6. Payments, pricing clarity and privacy

    • NewStripe checkout for plans and one-time extra credit packs.
    • NewCredit calculator on the pricing page — enter your book size, see what it costs before you subscribe.
